It was spectacular, and Willemijn's performance blew my socks off. I have to see her again. It simply must be.

The voice. The face. The expressions. The accent. Oh yes, the accent. It really adds to the character somehow, makes her more different still.

Wicked. Tonight. I just hope we won't get understudy!Elphaba. I specially planned the trip so I could see Willemijn.

You guys, I'm going to see Wicked in Stuttgart on the 26th, when the wonderful Willemijn Verkaik will be playing Elphaba. I just booked my ticket: 5th row from the from on the right side.

And the Mystery chose the prompt I most wanted to see written! They took it in a completety unexpected direction, but I find it quite interesting. Isn't this what prompting is all about, taking someone's expectations and doing something they never would have thought of?

13.30: It seems that I am once again having difficulties being productive. So, a revival of the list is in order.
What I did so far:
Repeat 60 words of Latin vocabulary.
Enter 40 new words of vocabulary.
Look around for the handout on epicureism and not managing to find it.
Remembering that said handout is crap anyway and shrugging it off.
Reviewing lecture notes and remembering that we never really made it to epicureism because of the professor's love affair with Aristotle.

Will now finish reading sodden Introduction to Epikur, and then march on to another of the oevres I have borrowed, because I have to hand them in on the 30th. Shit.

I just realised something that really shouldn't be so much of an epiphany.
About 90% of the characters in movies and TV shows that I adore were either played or spoken by Thomas Fritsch.
